 +One thing that is easier for individuals looking for grants than for businesses or organizations grants.gov is that you don’t have to  get  aDuNS number and you don’t have to officially register on SAM.gov. Just look for the Individual Registration link that you can find under the applicants tab and choose “get registered.” Fill out an easy form and then look for the specific grant you want. Just look under New Opportunities or do a search using a keyword related to your area. When you find a grant that looks promising then make a note of the FON (Funding Opportunity Number).  Then just enter that number and click the Register option. Provide the profile information requested and you’re on your way
