Grant Foundation offers grants for research projects which aim to  “reduce inequality.” There are several application deadlines in 2019: the one currently remaining is August 1, 2019 so you still have some time if this field of study is your expertise and passion. Their focus is specifically on those aged 5 to 25, living in the United States. In considering your application for a grant they ask that you choose between two focus areas: (1) reducing inequality in youth outcomes and (2) the use of research evidence and improving its use.You can see a very complete application guide on the williamtgrant website.
